Authors are invited to present papers on their recent and older unpublished works on all aspects of Forest Measurements and Quantitative Methods and Management. Selected papers will be submitted for publication in a special issue of the Southern Journal of Applied Forestry.
Topics Include: Growth and Yield, Modeling, Quantitative Management, Plantation Management, Computational Forestry, Simulations, Harvest Scheduling and Optimization, Inventory Issues, Sampling, Databases, and Other.

Submitting Materials: Submit the title and abstract of no more than 200 words no later then September 15, 2007. Abstract should be submitted when registering for conference. The deadline for the full paper submission is January 15, 2008.
Housing Information: The conference will be held at Hilton Garden Inn Beachfront, Orange Beach, Alabama. The hotel has set aside a block of rooms at reduced rates of $69.95 for King and $84.95 for Double per night (pool view) for conference participants registering by the deadline of October 19, 2007.
